On, the running shoe company built on patented Swiss technology, has named six running shoe industry veterans with nearly 50 years of combined experience serving specialty retailers to its North American sales force.  The announcement was made by Ted Goodlake, national director of sales, North America for On.

“Over the past two decades I have had the pleasure of working with these sales professionals and I have no doubt that their passion for running, category knowledge and long-standing relationships make them the right people to help grow our distribution and sales in the specialty running category,” said Mr. Goodlake.  “On is truly one of the most innovative brands to come along in the past decade and these experienced professional are ideally suited to get it on shelves.”

Here’s a look at the six new members of the On sales force:

Max Smith (Connecticut, Delaware, D.C., Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, Vermont, Virginia and West Virginia).  Max spent the past 3 ½ years at Puma North America after a brief stint at Adidas.  The sub-4-minute miler ran collegiately for Providence University.
