Outdoor Industry Association (OIA), an outdoor recreation industry trade association, stated that Jeremy Town joined the organization as vice president of finance and operations.

Most recently serving as director of finance and corporate development with Gaiam, Town will be part of OIA’s executive team in their Boulder, CO office.

“Jeremy brings a wealth of finance and operations experience from both inside and outside the outdoor industry that will drive long-term OIA success while also keeping sight of the immediate goals. And his collaborative spirit will ensure alignment across multiple functions,” said OIA Executive Director Amy Roberts.

Town will craft and implement OIA’s strategic imperatives, including finance policy and direction, as well as operations plans and business processes.

“I am looking forward to bringing my years of experience on the brand side to the important work that OIA does for the industry,” said Town.

Town started his career at IBM as a financial analyst before joining Amer Sports. After spending time in Altenmarkt, Austria, Town moved to Boulder and joined Footbalance System Ltd. as VP of finance before moving to Gaiam.

Town and his wife Suzanne enjoy being outdoors with their four-year-old pit bull terrier rescue, Lola.
