The two new Board members, Sarah Matt, CMO, Todd & Co. and Janice Tennant, CMO, Merrell, will begin their three-year terms in July, taking their seats at OIA’s summer Board meeting. “The new directors will help guide the Association to navigate the changing needs and challenges facing the industry and into a future with thriving outdoor businesses, thriving outdoor communities and a thriving planet,” said Lise Aangeenbrug, OIA Executive Director.

The three returning Board members, Jonathan Cedar, CEO and co-founder, BioLite, Phyllis Grove, SVP Marketing, Helen of Troy and Bruce Old, VP Global Wholesale, Patagonia, will begin their second elected three-year terms at its July board meeting.

Moving off the Board, following its July meeting, are Rue Mapp, founder & CEO, Outdoor Afro, following six years of service, and Dana Howe, director, Retailer Membership & Education, Grassroots Outdoor Alliance, following three years of service.

“The exiting directors represent unique and respected business voices and have provided the board with valuable perspective and insights, and we thank them for their contributions and committed service,” continued Aangeenbrug.
