Senators have arrived home for the July 4th recess and will be spending the next week in their states. The National Shooting Sports Foundation is asking all firearm owners, hunters, target shooters, and outdoor trade business owners to call or email their senators and urge them to co-sponsor the Bipartisan Sportsmen's Act, S. 2363

NSSF expects that the U.S. Senate will have an initial vote to move forward with S. 2363 soon after Senators return from the July 4th recess.

Call your senators at 202-224-3121 and urge them to co-sponsor the Bipartisan Sportsmen's Act of 2014! You can also send emails to your senators. If possible, find out the location of your senators' in-state offices from their websites and reach out to those offices during this recess either by phone or e-mail. It will make an impression!

This legislation will prevent anti-hunting groups from restricting hunters' ammunition choices; provide state fish & game agencies with more flexibility to use Pittman-Robertson funds to build and maintain badly needed public shooting rangers; and help facilitate and provide for more access to Bureau of Land Management and U.S. Forest Service lands and waters for hunting, recreational fishing and shooting.

Forty five Senators are already co-sponsors. If your senator is not a co-sponsor, ask them to sign on. If they are already onboard, then thank them for their leadership.
