The National Sporting Goods Association has opened the nomination process for its 2015 All-Star Awards. The fourth annual All-Star Awards will recognize the most outstanding accomplishments and contributions made within the Sporting Goods Industry.
“We are excited to honor and recognize the people in the Sporting Goods Industry who are making a significant impact to benefit others in their communities and in the Industry,” said NSGA President & CEO Matt Carlson. “It has been a great thrill to spotlight the impressive achievements of the previous award-winners. We are expecting another group of worthy nominees to continue that tradition.”
The 2015 All-Star Awards will be presented in the Community Collaboration and Industry Catalyst categories:
Community Collaboration: The Community Collaboration All-Star Award recognizes businesses that have a strong record of financially supporting local causes and events, and/or organizing and participating in activities meant to support a cause that builds community in their area. The company’s involvement should have a measurable impact on the organizations or events it has supported.
Community Collaboration: The Community Collaboration All-Star Award recognizes businesses that have a strong record of financially supporting local causes and events, and/or organizing and participating in activities meant to support a cause that builds community in their area. The company’s involvement should have a measurable impact on the organizations or events it has supported.
Industry Catalyst: The Industry Catalyst All-Star Award recognizes companies that implement measures to advance and spark innovation in the Sporting Goods Industry. The recipient of this award will have a dramatic impact on the Industry by raising the standards of excellence through innovation.
Nominations must be received by Nov. 7, 2014 to be considered and must be made by an NSGA member, but nominees and winners do not have to be NSGA members. The NSGA All-Star Awards will be presented at the 51st Annual NSGA Management Conference & 16th Annual Team Dealer Summit, May 3-6, 2015 at the Omni Barton Creek Resort & Spa in Austin, Texas.
