Active Brands AS of Norway is opening its North American headquarters in Denver, according to a report by the Denver Business Journal.
The journal quotes Active Brands Director Of International Sales Bob Donker as saying the company is still scouting locations and expects to employ about 10 in operations, marketing and sales when the office opens by June.
Active Brands owns six brands, including three that debuted at the SIA Snow Show in Denver last week. Those brands – Bula, Kari Trar, Vossatassai, Asnes, Nanok, Bjorn Daehlie and Rode Skiwas, make a variety of apparel and accessories for winter sports.
