NAHBS is the world’s largest show for custom-built bicycles, and has retained SMAK Strategies as its PR agency of record. SMAK Strategies will provide strategic public relations and marketing services in order to gain exposure for the 2016 show, which will be held February 26-28, 2016 at the Sacramento Convention Center in Sacramento, CA.
Heading into its twelfth year, NAHBS is dedicated to showcasing the talents of individuals and companies around the world, providing an interactive forum for frame builders and cycling enthusiasts to share their ideas, expertise and support for their industry. Exhibitors, attendees and media will soon be able to register to attend the 2016 show at the official NAHBS website.
“We are excited to be partnering with SMAK Strategies again in 2016 and are looking forward to a very successful, well attended show in Sacramento,” said Don Walker, founder and president of NAHBS. “This will be the second time NAHBS is hosted in Sacramento, the first occurring in 2012 when the show saw record attendance. Sacramento is a world-class convention destination with the location and resources to help the 2016 show be the biggest, most well attended yet.”
By marketing the event earlier this year, NAHBS is aiming to have 10,000-plus attendees at the 2016 show.
“We are very happy to continue our partnership with NAHBS,” said Maria Hennessey, founder and president of SMAK Strategies. “This is a truly unique event created specifically to showcase and elevate the talents of independent frame builders from around the world. We are excited to help them spread the word and work with this artisanal arm of the bicycle industry.”
SMAK will begin working with NAHBS immediately and will handle all aspects of show promotion, including media communications, exhibitor outreach, newsletter creation, social media outreach, and several new on-site initiatives for the 2016 show.
SMAK’s current roster of fitness and active lifestyle clients includes Sweet Protection, Kari Traa, Harbinger, HumanX, Potable Aqua and EvoFit.
