Nordstrom Comps Climb 2.8% in November

Nordstrom, Inc. reported preliminary sales of $706.5 million for the month of November, an increase of 5.8%compared to sales of $667.6 million for the same period in 2004. Same-store sales increased 2.8%.

Preliminary year-to-date sales of $6.1 billion increased 7.6% compared to sales of $5.7 billion in 2004. Year-to-date same-store sales increased 5.7 percent.

On November 11th Nordstrom opened its 98th full-line store in Dallas, Texas at NorthPark Center.
