Nomad’s 2021 Pursuit Convertible Turkey Vest is an option for those who prefer a minimalist yet functional approach, as it can be worn as a traditional vest or unclipped to be worn as a fanny pack.
The Vest features two friction call pockets and a zippered storage cargo pocket with striker and shotgun shell elastic loops; a box call pocket with an adjustable buckle; a protective rigid-foam outer shell with a built-in chalk holder and locator call sleeve; an external Thermacell pocket; and more pockets for mouth calls and other essential gear. It also offers a chest pocket for access to a rangefinder, GPS or cell phone. A roll-top gear bag gives room for a pullover, snacks or more gear.
The Vest also includes a removable high-density foam seat for comfort. Magnetic attachments keep it folded and quiet when in stealth mode. A stowable game bag gets your quarry back to the truck.
It comes in two Mossy Oak patterns, Bottomland or Shadow Leaf. Mossy Oak’s Shadow Leaf pattern was originally launched in 1997 as Mossy Oak’s second turkey specific pattern. Nomad reintroduces Shadow Leaf in its 2021 turkey line-up.
