Nikwax has hired Heidi Allen for the position of marketing coordinator in the North American division. In this role, Allen is the key liaison between the sales team and the marketing team.
“We have an amazing group of savvy and creative people who consistently evaluate how we can better serve our dealer partners and customers,” said Chas Fisher, president of Nikwax N.A. and global brand manager. “Heidi is already integral in implementing the best of these ideas and generating new ideas. Her role is ultimately to ensure that our sales team can offer the highest level of service to their dealers.”
The marketing coordinator role is a new position Fisher created to ensure the continuation of the positive momentum Nikwax is experiencing in North America. “Between the economy and a growing sense of immediacy for environmental concerns, there is a trend toward conscious spending,” continued Fisher. “As marketing coordinator, Heidi is charged with facilitating all internal groups to turn that trend into an accepted and encouraged buying practice.”
Allen has been in outdoor industry for five years, holding positions in retail, management and environmental education.
