Nikwax, an outdoor performance gear and apparel aftercare product company, added new sales agencies on the East Coast to better serve specialty retail for the fall trade show season.
We’re excited to announce the addition of these three new sales agencies, covering the East Coast from Florida through Maine,” said Director of Sales Brian Davidson. “As we continue our growth in the specialty outdoor retail channel, we selected agencies that provide a high level of service and have expertise in supporting retailers with specialty accessory products. Nikwax is unique in that we are assorted in outerwear, footwear, camping and cash wrap areas of stores, so we search out agencies that have in-depth knowledge helping retailers successfully merchandise across multiple areas.”
New East Coast Agencies:
- Sky Ambitions – Principals Dave and Kristin Karl. Territory: ME, VT, NH, MA, CT, RI.
- Dedication Sports Group – Principals Andy Correll and Paul Wu. Territory: NY, NJ, PA, DE, MD, VA.
- Adventure Marketing Group – Principal Tom Hammond. Territory: FL, GA, AL, MS, TN, SC, NC, VA.
Sky Ambition’s Dave Karl said, “We see a great deal of opportunity to grow the Nikwax brand and enhance the end consumer’s product experience, as even the best performing textiles and footwear need occasional maintenance. Nikwax is certainly the technology and industry leader in this field and a brand that most every outdoor shop should embrace.”
“This is a great time for our energized rep force and specialty retail to have a fresh conversation about aftercare,” said Nikwax President Rick Meade. “Today’s outdoor customers seek to get the most value from their gear investments — they want a $300 shell jacket to perform for many years. Additionally, they seek the assurance that the products they purchase are environmentally friendly. With the increased scrutiny of PFC chemistry, Nikwax is well positioned as the PFC-free leader to provide high performance aftercare with low impact.”
