Nike Inc. has stopped taking online orders on its Russian website because it can’t guarantee delivery, Nike said on its Russian website.

According to the Wall Street Journal, Nike suggested customers head its nearest store if they want to buy Nike products. Nike operates about 116 stores in Russia and most appear to be open, according to its website.

Nike did not specify why it was not able to guarantee deliveries and it was uncertain whether the move was a response to Russia’s invasion of Ukraine.

The move came as FedEx and UPS suspended shipments to Russia on Sunday. Nike has not responded to requests for comment.
