Nike reached an agreement with Sun and Sand Sports to distribute Nike apparel, footwear and accessories in Saudi Arabia.
Abdul Aziz Hassan Baqer, Chairman of Gulf Marketing Group, said in a statement, “Sun and Sand Sports already has the distinction of being the Nike distributor in UAE, Oman, Qatar, Bahrain and Kuwait. The addition of Saudi Arabia is a significant milestone achieved. It reflects Sun and Sand Sports strong and evolving partnership with Nike over nearly 30 years. We are committed to maintain Nike as the premium sports brand in the Middle East.”
The agreement was signed at the Gulf Marketing Group office in Dubai, United Arab Emirates between Mr. Karsten Koehler, Nike's Distributors Business Director and Mr. Abdul Aziz Hassan Baqer, Chairman of Gulf Marketing Group.
