Nike opened Nike Aventura in Miami, FL. It is the first Nike Rise store in the U.S. and “signals the next stage of our retail expansion in North America,” said Nike in a release.

The Nike Rise concept features:

  • Sport Pulse a digital storytelling platform that “visualizes local sport, city, and athlete data to create one-of-a-kind content within the store;”
  • Screens displaying local sports, city and athlete data, including from the company’s Nike Training Club, Nike Run Club apps, and local sports content;
  • The Sport Hub, where shoppers can return items, pick up online purchases, scan items for product information, and use their SNKRS Pass; and
  • Nike By You, a section where shoppers can customize their sneakers and apparel.

Nike said Nike Aventura has the “largest retail space for bras and leggings of all its stores in North America.”

Nike tested the retail concept in 2020 in Guangzhou, China, and now has Nike Rise stores in Seoul, South Korea and London.

“We are scaling our investment in every facet of our retail business to increase access to sport and inspire, connect and serve athletes through curated digital and physical experiences,” David Kelsay, vice president, North America Stores. “Digital drives everything from consumer insights, store design, online-to-offline services, in-store fitness experiences, and workouts via our digital app ecosystem. We aim to create digitally enabled and differentiated retail experiences to create seamless shopping and fitness journeys for our consumers across our marketplace.”

Nike’s concept stores include Nike Unite, Nike Live, and the recently-introduced Nike Style.
