Nike, Inc. announced two management appointments in two important areas of its global business, retail and women’s.

Heidi O’Neill assumes the newly created role of vice president and general manager of Nike stores and is responsible for all aspects of Nikes retail presence worldwide, including oversight of Nike-branded partner stores. O’Neill will be responsible for further elevating consumers’ experience of the Nike brand at retail including development of new store concepts.

A Nike veteran, O’Neill joined the company in 1998. During her 15-year tenure she has served in a variety of consumer-focused roles, including vp of US apparel and most recently as vp, gm of Nike women’s.

Amy Montagne has been appointed vice president and general manager of Nike women’s. Montagne will be responsible for expanding Nike’s brand position with women and continuing to drive the current momentum within Nike’s women’s business. Montagne joined Nike in 2005 and has held a range of global roles, including vp, global running merchandising and, vp, gm of global merchandising.
