Nike Inc. announced that its Nike-owned and operated stores will remain temporarily closed in multiple countries around the world due to the coronavirus. The company didn’t give a date for the locations to reopen.
The announcement extends the closure that Nike had issued on March 15 when the company said stores would reopen Saturday, March 28.
“For the continued safety and well-being of our teammates and customers, our Nike-owned and operated stores will remain temporarily closed in multiple countries around the world,” the company said. “Stores in select locations are open based on guidance from health and government authorities.”
