Revenues at Nielsen Holdings N.V. Expositions segment, which owns the Outdoor Retailer and Interbike trade shows, declined $3 million, or 19 percent, to $17 million in the fourth quarter ended Dec. 31, 2012. The segment generated adjusted EBIDTA of $3 million, down 25 percent from the fourth quarter of 2011.



Nielsen said the fourth quarter was a tough environment for corporate spending, but attributed the decline at its Exposition segment primarily to more trade shows falling into the third rather than the fourth quarter. For the full year, Exposition revenues were up 2 percent.

Nielsen Expositions 28 trade shows include Outdoor Retailer; Interbike; the Health + Fitness Business Expo, the Imprinted Sportswear Shows and Impressions.
