Nfinity, the womens performance team sport footwear company, announced that one of girls basketballs biggest advocates has joined the Nfinity team. Mary Thompson will lead Nfinitys efforts with AAU and high school girls basketball teams.

Thompson joins Nfinity after nearly a decade with Nike. Under her watch, Nike took the lead in national tournaments and skills academies for girls.

“Nfinity is purely about the female athlete,” says Thompson. “Sport is sport and athletes are athletes, but product is not product. Having a product that speaks to the female and is designed specifically for her body is what Nfinity is all about. I look forward to working with a company that truly believes in womens athletics.”

Thompson, who played and coached at Loyola College, is known for her genuine concern about girls basketball players. While with Nike, Thompson signed 45 high school teams, 24 travel teams and organized 16 player events. At Nfinity, she is expected to sign a significant number of the top girls teams and expand her loyal following.

“We are thrilled to have some one of Marys caliber join us,” says Tate Chalk, Nfinity CEO. “Not only do we aim to have the finest shoes in womens athletics, we also strive to hire the best people in women’s athletics.  Mary is undoubtedly one of them.”
