The NBA Store on Fifth Avenue had its “most successful November ever,” along with its “most successful shoe launch ever” with the adidas Originals NBA Superstar Collection. The store reported that November sales volume increased 7% over its previous highest month. With the Dec. 1 launch of the adidas Originals NBA Superstar Collection, the store claims it is on track to have its most successful footwear month ever in December.
The line is the first adidas and NBA co-branded footwear offered at retail since the announcement of the 11-year partnership making adidas the official uniform and apparel provider for the NBA, the WNBA, and the NBA Development League.
According the to store, the best selling models in the collection are, in order, Knicks, Spurs, Celtics, Lakers, Wizards, Heat, 76ers, Warriors, Nets, and Bulls . The most popular selling items at the store for this holiday season have been the Superstar Collection followed by Authentic Jerseys, Replica Jerseys, the Team Envy Short, and the Gametime Tee.
