At New Era Cap headquarters in downtown Buffalo on April 29, Big Brothers Big Sisters of Erie County and Buffalo Bills legend Steve Tasker announced the team’s selections for rounds five and six.

The event was streamed live on Buffalobills.com and on NFL.com.

The unique Draft Day 3 experience gave eight Littles and eight Bigs from Big Brothers Big Sisters the chance to design a cap, which will be sold on New Era’s website. All proceeds will benefit Big Brothers Big Sisters of Erie County. Another new component that fans will notice on Draft Day 3 this year, is that round six draft picks will be youth football themed. Joining the Bills to help announce the team’s selection will be flag football team members from the Hamburg Recreation Department NFL Flag League and Youth Advantage NFL Flag League. “As the official cap of the National Football League, New Era is no stranger to the NFL Draft. Yet, this is the first time we’ll be hosting the Buffalo Bills Day 3 Draft picks and we couldn’t be more excited,” said Josh Feine, vice president sports marketing and corporate sponsorships, New Era. “Our partnership with the Bills organization goes beyond just a naming rights deal. We’re continually looking for opportunities to extend our relationship and this event is proof of that.” “We are so grateful for our partnership with the Buffalo Bills and the wonderful opportunities it provides for our Little Brothers and Sisters,” shared Thomas Guagliardo, CEO Big Brothers Big Sisters of Erie County. “To be part of such an exciting day filled with unique experiences to share with their Big Brother or Big Sister creates moments and memories for these Littles that will last a lifetime.”
