The Grand Canyon National Park says a body that was found on Friday is likely Jackson Standefer, the grandson of Randy Merrell, who helped found the Merrell Boot Co.

As reported, Lou-Ann Merrell and Standefer, 14-years-old, were last seen trying to cross Tapeats Creek in Grand Canyon National Park on April 15  when they lost their footing and slipped into the water. The pair were hiking below canyon’s North Rim with Randy Merrell and Jackson Standefer’s mom, Julie Standefer.

Merrell, the footwear brand owned by Wolverine Worldwide, has been providing climbers and rescuers to assist in the search.

According to USA Today and other reports, The park says the body was found by a commercial river trip. It was transported by helicopter to the Coconino County Medical Examiner, which will confirm identification.

LouAnn Merrell, the wife of Randy Merrell, has not been found.
