After debuting New Balance’s NB Zip footwear at the 2006 Summer X Games, New Balance is back in extreme action with
official gold-level sponsorship of the 2007 Winter X Games in Aspen, where the brand’s latest models of NB Zip footwear will be featured on-site and through ESPN’s media platforms.

NB's on-site presence will include an interactive NB Zip Ice Lounge at
Buttermilk Mountain for X Games attendees. The Ice Lounge will feature
displays of NB Zip footwear frozen in blocks of ice and live feeds of X
Games action and offer visitors NB Zip Credentials, daily raffles and
giveaways, DJ-hosted plinko and twister games and X Games athlete autograph
sessions.

As official footwear sponsor, NB Zip advertising will be featured in ESPN
Magazine’s Winter X Games coverage and on www.ESPN.com and www.EXPN.com.
NB Zip television spots will be featured throughout ESPN-TV’s coverage of
the Winter X Games from Thursday, January 25 through Sunday, January 28th.

In addition, each registered Winter X Games athlete will receive a pair of
NB Zip shoes and New Balance will run a weekend cross-promotion with New
York Pizza, a social hot spot in Aspen. Through Plum TV Aspen, NB Zip's
X-Games sponsorship will go local via on-air coverage of the NB Zip Ice
Lounge, a commercial schedule and interviews with key New Balance
executives. Plum TV is a local cable channel serving premium U.S. resort
destinations with the key happenings around town.
