Nevica Technical SportSystem Ltd. will be launching a new skiwear brand for the 2007/2008 winter season in the medium to upper end of the technical skiwear market. The new brand will be officially unveiled in November 2006 to its key distributor and retailer points world-wide. In light of the focus now being placed on this new project Nevica has decided not to renew its Killy licence agreement which expires after the deliveries have been made for the 2006/2007 winter season.

Paul Goldstein, Nevica’s Chairman, said, “In the 28 years since I started the company we have had exceptional success first with the Nevica brand and more recently with Killy. We have enjoyed working with Killy and are honoured to have been associated with such a prestigious brand name.

The new brand represents a really exciting challenge to bring a new and dynamic product to market that reflects the basic reasons why we all work in the ski industry. We have a wealth of experience in producing innovative ski clothing. The new line will be technical and aspirational in its design and it will reflect the energy, colour and excitement of the sport.”

The new brand name will be officially unveiled in September.
