Nemo Equipment, Inc. has launched a microsite to support its newest product line, sleeping bags. The site, created by Almighty, provides a holistic view of the development of the line, from early sketches and testing to final design.

Site visitors can explore an array of sharp, detailed sleeping bag images, delve into technical specifications, or engage in conversation with Nemo designers via an integrated Facebook plugin. A “recommended pairing” section features Nemo’s choice for sleeping bag and sleeping pad integration, ensuring the best sleep system for maximum comfort.

The site also enables customers to reserve one of the 2012 Limited Edition sleeping bags for Fall 2012 delivery, ahead of the global launch with outdoor specialty retailers in 2013. Visitors can see real-time inventory numbers of each bag prior to ordering and a customized email confirms reservation of the customer’s hand-numbered, Limited Edition bag.  Since the site’s launch on April 17, 19% of the bags have been reserved (as of 5/7/12).

“Our design and Adventure Product Testing™ teams have been working hard and we’re really excited to be bringing some truly unique sleeping bags to market.  The limited edition launch should help take the guesswork out of ordering for retailers. We’ll know which styles are popular with customers and will be able to show solid numbers to the buyers,” said NEMO’s Senior Sales Director, Brent Merriam.
