The Texas Rangers’ Neftali Feliz signed a multi-year endorsement contract with 3N2, a Florida-based designer and developer of high performance baseball and softball footwear. Feliz will compete in customized 3N2 baseball cleats and performance apparel, and feature visibly in 3N2’s baseball marketing.

The 21-year-old flame pitcher from the Dominican Republic recently made his historic Major League Baseball debut, tying Nolan Ryan’s record of 7 consecutive strikeouts. Feliz struck out the first four batters he faced in the majors, a feat last accomplished in1962 by Pete Richert. With a fastball that is regularly clocked at 101 mph, Feliz is seen as a future ace in the Ranger’s rotation.

Marty Graham, President of 3N2, feels Feliz has the talent and character to quickly become a very special player. “We were aware of just how unique a talent Neftali was when we signed him as a minor leaguer. In addition to being a tremendous pitcher, he’s a tremendous kid and a big part of our current and future plans. We fully expect Neftali to become synonymous with the 3N2 baseball brand.”

Feliz, who is being broken in as a reliever during the Texas Rangers’ wild card stretch run, echoed Graham’s comments when asked about the endorsement deal, “I love the product and am very happy with the relationship between 3N2 and myself. I look forward to a bright future for everyone involved.”
