Native Eyewear  named Brevard, NC as the locale for its next Locals Only Project, a social media campaign that will drive content for its upcoming catalogs and branding collateral.

Native is now accepting portfolios from writers, photographers and other creative types to help create the assets for the 2014 Native Eyewear marketing campaign. Submissions are actively being accepted on the Native Eyewear Facebook page through July 5th.

The Locals Only Project is a fan driver program that seeks to find the best mountain towns, the best local talent and the best local adventures- all through fan nomination and votes via social media. Native then works with the locals to curate stories of the community.

These stories become the content for the catalog and branding materials, as they truly embody the Native Eyewear brand of adventure, outdoors and the mountain lifestyle. Since Locals Only Project’s inception, Native Eyewear has traveled to Boulder, CO, Hood River, OR and Whitefish, MT.

“The culture and people in Brevard really embody the spirit of the Locals Only Project,” says Al Perkinson, Vice President of Marketing. “We’re looking forward to discovering this awesome town through the eyes of the locals.”
