Nation's Best Sports (NBS), the sporting goods buying group, has reached a new agreement with Warrantech Consumer Product Services, Inc., a provider of service contracts and after-market warranties on consumer electronic products and home appliances.
Beginning this summer, Warrantech will provide NBS members with an extended warranty program. Warrantech will administer the new program, and will provide a number of additional support services including trade show support to inform NBS members of the new warranties.
“The Nation's Best Sports contract signifies our launch into the sports equipment market,” said Joel San Antonio, CEO and president of Warrantech Corporation, the parent company of WCPS. “As the lead buying group for sporting goods retailers, NBS supports a network of 800 locations nationwide. This is a huge market, and we are pleased to be a partner in serving this rapidly expanding industry.”
“Warrantech's outstanding reputation and A-carrier rating made selecting a service provider an easy decision for NBS, said Stuart Snow, vice president of athletics/recruiting for Nation's Best Sports. Our members count on repeat business, and we are confident that Warrantech will provide the highest level of service that NBS customers have come to expect. With good service combined with the additional revenue generated from ESP sales, partnering with Warrantech was a sound strategic move that benefits NBS, Warrantech, our members and their customers.”
“We have the technology and the expertise to provide fast, efficient service to our clients and their customers,” San Antonio noted. “Our ability to quickly tailor customized programs designed to meet the individualized needs of our clients is the hallmark of our success, and the reason that more than 1,800 new dealers have signed on to sell Warrantech extended service plans during the past 18 months,” he added.
Located in Fort Worth, Texas, Nation's Best Sports (NBS) is the largest volume, sporting goods buying group in North America.
