The National Ski & Snowboard Retailers Association (NSSRA), at its Board of Directors meeting on March 9, appointed Tracy Gibbons of Sturtevant’s (Bellevue, WA) as Chair, Robb Shepherd of Shepherd & Schaller Sporting Goods (Wausau, WI) as vice chair and Jon Morrill of Kittery Trading Post (Kittery, ME) as secretary/treasurer. Gordon Geiger of Geiger’s (Lakewood, OH) will continue on the Board as Past Chair.
Brad Nelson of HiTempo, Inc. (White Bear Lake, MN) was elected to a second three-year term. Gary Fleming, Snow Merchandising Corp. (Springfield, MA), will remain a member of the NSSRA Board of Directors.
New members of the NSSRA Board of Directors include Stefan Hausberger of Zimmermanns Skis, Boards and More (Nashua, NH), Phillip Howard of Troy’s Ski Lubbock (Lubbock, TX) and Tyler Lockard of Sports Specialists, Ltd. (Golden, CO).
“Tracy has been an excellent contributor to the NSSRA Board, and we are thrilled to have her use her expertise and understanding of the ski and snowboard industry to lead NSSRA,” said Julie Pitts, NSSRA president. “We are also excited about the additions of Stefan Hausberger, Phillip Howard and Tyler Lockard and the perspectives they bring to help ski and snowboard retailers.”
Tom Fuerst of Pedigree Ski Shop (White Plains, NY) is leaving the NSSRA Board.
“NSSRA appreciates Tom’s service, dedication and ideas that have made the ski and snowboard industry better,” Pitts said. “Tom has been a valuable contributor, and we look forward to continuing our relationship with him and Pedigree Ski Shop for many years to come.”
