Moving Comfort announced the addition of Julie Gongliewski to the management team as director of sales. In her new role, Gongliewski will collaborate with product and marketing, and lead the implementation of the brand’s selling strategies to achieve revenue and margin goals.

“I'm thrilled to be adding Julie to our team and look forward to her leadership skills and sales expertise taking the Moving Comfort brand to the next level,” said Julie Baxter, vice president of Moving Comfort. “Her financial acumen and planning savvy will be great assets to our team.  Additionally, Julie embodies the brand as a fit and powerful woman who participates in a variety of fitness activities and has a genuine passion for Moving Comfort product.”

Gongliewski comes to Moving Comfort from PivotLink where she collaborated with clients to identify key business drivers and strategies to increase and measure metrics. Previous to that, Gongliewski worked at Brooks Sports, Moving Comfort's parent company, where she held positions of financial analyst, director of business planning, manager of customer operations and national account planning manager.

“I am excited to be part of the team where I can combine my passion for fitness and exercise with my sales, financial and business background to drive the Moving Comfort brand forward,” says Gongliewski.

Gongliewski joins Moving Comfort as the brand's growth is at an all-time high. Moving Comfort is in the No. 1 position in the sports bra category owning 65.5 percent market share in the specialty running retail channel as of the latest Leisure Trends Group Running RetailTRAK. Moving Comfort’s Fiona sports bra continues to remain the number one selling apparel item.

Gongliewski will be based in Moving Comfort's Seattle headquarters. An avid runner, cyclist and swimmer, she is currently training for the Pacific Crest Half Ironman.
