Movement Climbing, Yoga and Fitness, the largest nationwide community of indoor climbing gyms, acquired four of Summit Climbing, Yoga and Fitness Gyms’ in the Dallas-Fort Worth metro area.
As part of the deal, Movement also acquired Team Texas and the Summit Carrollton location as a team training facility. Team Texas is Summit’s youth climbing team competing on the national and world level in USA Climbing and IFSC competitions. Founded in 1996, it is the longest-running youth climbing team in the U.S., winning 30 Youth National Team Championships across multiple disciplines.

Movement purchased the following Summit Gyms locations: Summit Grapevine, the newest and largest location, opened in 2022, with 36,000 square feet; Summit Plano, a 32,000-square-foot facility; and Summit Denton and Fort Worth, bouldering-only facilities.
