Mountainsmith has inked a new partnership in Latin America. Rabbit Mountain, based in Boulder, Colorado, has assumed distribution responsibilities for Mountainsmith products in Mexico, Central America, and South America. The announcement was made by Geoff O’Keeffe, president of Mountainsmith.

“The agenda for Rabbit Mountain is to establish Mountainsmith as a leading outdoor brand in the market,” commented O’Keeffe. They will be responsible for advertising, marketing, providing strong and responsive dealer support programs, and maintaining the integrity of the Mountainsmith brand.

Rabbit Mountain is headed up by its president and founder, Edward Gerety. Since 1995, Rabbit Mountain has sold equipment, accessories and apparel for mountain and outdoor activities throughout Latin America. They currently supply most independent outdoor shops from Mexico to Tierra del Fuego. Rabbit Mountain is committed to bringing quality outdoor products into Latin America. “Mountainsmith will be an important addition to our collection of brands” said Gerety.
