Peter Novak, vice president of sales for Mountainsmith, recently announced the appointment of Chet Cisek as regional sales and marketing representative for the company's Midwest states.
Cisek, whose company name is Wild Moon, will take over responsibility for Mountainsmith's sales and marketing in Illinois, Iowa, Minnesota, Nebraska, North Dakota, South Dakota, and Wisconsin as well as upper Michigan.
A life-long outdoor enthusiast, Chet has worked in the outdoor industry since 1997. In addition to Mountainsmith, Wild Moon currently represents Sierra Designs, Crescent Moon Snowshoes, Minus33 wool undergarments, and Trailfinder, an online travel planning resource. Prior to running his own company, Cisek gained sales experience working for a specialty outdoor retailer and then as an associate sales representative for several hard- and softgoods outdoor products suppliers.
