Alex Corner, based out of Ste-Agathe Des Monts, Canada, has been retained by Mountainsmith to oversee their sales and marketing efforts in the Quebec and Ontario provinces. This is one of several steps in a targeted strategy to grow Mountainsmith’s presence in Canada.
Alex joins the company with outstanding and diversified qualifications in outdoor sports as well as aeronautics. In addition to Mountainsmith, he currently represents Briko-Maplus and Hydrapack. Alex has owned an outdoor/ski shop in the past and he has worked in all facets of the outdoor industry as a buyer, in sales and merchandising, customer service and public relations. He has also worked in the ski industry as a technical representative for such prestigious companies as Fischer and Swix. His diplomas in aircraft maintenance engineering, physics and Pure & Applied Science add a scientific and mechanical element to his impressive resume.
