Montrail has hired Bruno De Muynck as its first European Sales Manager, effective immediately. De Muynck, who will be based out of Antwerp, Belgium, will take the lead
role in Europe to develop the Montrail brand, penetrate key markets, and coordinate marketing efforts.

Since 1999, De Muynck, a Belgian who is known by his first name, has worked
for Five Ten Europe, both as Sales Manager, and for the last two years, as
General Manager. His areas of responsibility with Five Ten Europe included
sales management, forecasting, market analysis, marketing and product
development. Bruno speaks five languages, and is active in climbing, trail
running and is a certified canyoning guide.

“Bruno will bring focus and experience to our European efforts,” said Scott
Tucker, Montrail's President. “We will first leverage our strongest
positions in Italy, France, Spain and the U.K. to help influence sales in
other countries. Strategically, we can best become known as a brand for our
lightweight trail running and climbing products. In the long term, we want
to become a major brand for all the categories we serve.”

Montrail distributes its footwear internationally throughout Europe, the
United Kingdom, Russia, and in Canada, Hong Kong, China, Japan, Korea,
Australia, New Zealand and South Africa. In 2003, international sales
accounted for 21% of Montrail's business, and increased 27% over sales in
2002. Sales in Europe, the U.K. and Russia grew by more than 60% in 2003.
