Modell’s Sporting Goods will celebrate the grand opening of a new 16,460 square foot store located on 2859 Long Beach Road in the Long Island community of Oceanside starting Friday, Dec. 2 through Sunday, Dec. 4, company President/CEO Mitchell Modell announced.
The ceremonial ribbon cutting will take place Friday morning, Dec. 2 at 9am with special giveaways for the first 200 customers in attendance.
Festivities continue throughout the weekend with special offerings and appearances from local pro athletes.
The retailer operates 148 stores located in New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Connecticut, Rhode Island, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Delaware, Maryland, Virginia and Washington, DC.
