ModCraft, a boutique public relations agency representing brands across fashion, health, sports and fitness, welcomed Kevin Burnette as co-founder and partner. Burnette most recently served as VP of sales for Panache Cyclewear, where he developed the sales infrastructure and grew revenue by 400 percent over a two-year period. As ModCraft Partner and Co-Founder, he will lead sales and business development while managing client accounts and implementing strategic media buys.

An established Sales Executive within the endurance industry, Burnette brings broad experience managing high-profile accounts for a variety of media, manufacturing, and retail organizations. Prior to Panache Cyclewear, Burnette worked as Vice President of Sales for Competitor Group and Advertising Director for VeloNews, where he managed sales across all Competitor Group media and event properties, including Competitor, Triathlete, VeloNews, Inside Tri, Competitor.com, and the Rock n Roll Marathon Series. Burnette successfully led multiple sales teams to record advertising and expo revenue across 800 client accounts.

Burnette also previously worked as Inside Sales Rep for American Bicycle Group, after he got his start in the industry as the top selling rep for Cycle 360 Bicycles in Austin, Texas. Kevin holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from the University of Texas and also has completed graduate coursework in Exercise Physiology. Burnette is a competitive endurance athlete having raced and trained at a high level across cycling, triathlon and running.

Kevin joins his wife Shanna Burnette as ModCrafts founders. The Burnettes created ModCraft to build on their joint experience and passion for helping innovative brands successfully leverage PR to grow their businesses; to connect with their core consumers while reaching wider audiences. Shannas experience spans across public relations, marketing and endurance sports markets. Through her work with past clients, Shanna has very close ties to fashion, health, sports, and fitness editorial communities across North America as well as internationally. Additionally, award-winning creative designer Michael Carpenter will head ModCrafts creative brand building services. Carpenter brings a decade of experience working with entertainment, lifestyle, and outdoor brands such as MTV, EMI, Oakley and Ride Snowboards.

ModCraft represents a dream job for Shanna and myself, said Burnette. We now have the opportunity to build on our combined industry experience and focus our work with a select number of exceptional niche brands. I am looking forward to getting started and to ModCrafts future growth.
