Mizuno USA, Inc. signed a multi-year endorsement deal with notable up-and-coming distance runner, Christo Landry.  Currently ranked 4th in the USA Running Circuit Standings, Landry finished 2nd at the 15K and 25K U.S. National Road Championships this year, along with a 7th place finish at the US Cross Country Championships.  Landry is yet another elite name added to the Mizuno Racing Team, joining such notables as Serena Burla, 3rd Place finisher at the 2012 Seoul International Marathon; Clara Grandt, 7th Place Finisher at the 2012 US Olympic Marathon Trials; and renowned triathlete, Dr. Amanda Stevens.   

“Christo Landry is the hottest new, young star on the U.S. Road Racing Circuit and we are excited to help him reach his goals as a national class runner,” said Ron Wayne, Running Division Promotions Manager, Mizuno USA.  “We have high hopes for what he is capable of accomplishing, and believe he is a perfect fit for the Mizuno Racing Team.”

Currently living and training in Ann Arbor, Michigan, Landry is a part-time volunteer running coach at the University of Michigan. Originally from Falls Church, Virginia, Landry earned a B.A. in Economics, a BBA in Finance and Master’s Degree in Accounting from The College of William and Mary in Virginia, where he was a three-time Cross Country All-American. In 2005, he represented the U.S. at the World Junior Cross Country Championships. In 2011, he competed on the U.S. Ekiden Team in Izumo, Japan.
