Mirror, the on-demand fitness startup which makes a reflective LCD display for following workouts at home, announced the launch of one-on-one Personal Training.
Using Mirror’s two-way audio and video, members will have an experience that is analogous to having a personal trainer in their home.
Mirror matches clients with their trainer based on their preferred workout activity, trainer motivational style, session length, and schedule. Mirror Trainers customize each session based on their clients’ goals, preferences, and skill level.
Mirror Personal Training is available for $40 per session for Mirror Members, and additional household participants are encouraged to join at no additional cost.
“The launch of one-on-one Personal Training is an integral step in catapulting us towards our goal of building the first media company that owns both a dedicated channel and original content in the home,” said Brynn Putnam, founder, and chief executive officer of Mirror. “We’re democratizing premium fitness experiences and giving anyone access to the best trainers, no matter where you live or how busy your schedule may be. Most importantly, we’re thrilled about what’s on the horizon. This lays the foundation for Mirror to expand, and bring people intimate access to experts in other fields — such as fashion, beauty, and medicine — all from the convenience of home.”
