The Minnesota State Department of Athletics signed a new three-year deal with BSN Sports and Nike. Under the contract terms, BSN Sports and Nike will continue as the college’s primary equipment, footwear, apparel, and game-day uniform supplier for all 20 Maverick athletic programs.

The agreement includes a signing bonus and other incentives for achieving championships at conference and national levels.

“We are pleased to extend this commitment to BSN Sports and Nike,” said Kevin Buisman, Minnesota State Director of Athletics. “It has proven to be a strong partnership, and the Nike brand is a premier one in the industry marketplace that continues to resonate with our coaches and student-athletes.

“Maverick Athletics has been able to sustain a successful presence at the conference, regional, and national championship level and it has provided us with a platform that allows us to showcase this relationship,” continued Buisman.

The deal benefits Maverick’s athletic department with preferred team pricing through BSN Sports on Nike uniforms, apparel, footwear, and Jordan brand and program rebates.

“We are excited to continue our partnership with Minnesota State and Nike to elevate the performance and impact of the Maverick athletic program,” said Vice President of BSN Sports’ Collegiate Select Program, Todd Northrop. “This strategic partnership benefits each student-athlete on the field or court by outfitting them with the finest apparel and athletic gear, while putting time back in the days of Maverick coaches to dedicate towards their athletes.”
