Colorado-based Meteorite PR announced today the hiring of two industry veterans as it looks to expand its global footprint in 2020.

Nick Firchau will serve as Meteorite’s content manager after nearly 20 years spent as a journalist and digital media professional. He spent six years as a reporter with the Chicago Sun-Times and later played a senior editorial role for, the league website for Major League Soccer. He has also worked in leadership roles for StubHub and Seattle Sounders FC and has served as a podcast producer for Fortune 500 companies such as Amazon and Nvidia, as well as 24 Hour Fitness, Pivotal, Spartan Races and Gladly.

Susie von Mettenheim joins Meteorite as an account coordinator on the heels of a lengthy career in the outdoor industry. She ran her own independent sales rep agency within the outdoor industry for 17 years before joining Patagonia in its Boulder, CO-based retail store for eight years.

Meteorite PR was founded in 2017 by PR industry veteran Eric Henderson and represents a broad collection of clients including outdoor footwear brand Salewa, Wild Country and award-winning outdoor and adventure film and production company Teton Gravity Research, among others.
