Kyle Phillips has been named Mervin Manufacturing's vice president of sales. Phillips will oversee sales for all Mervin brands and categories including Lib-Tech, Gnu and Roxy, reporting to Mervin GM, Ryan Hollis.

“Kyle knows all of our brands inside and out. He understands how retail works on every level. But, most of all Kyle's a rider who can take shops and reps out in an conditions or any terrain and show them a great time,” says Ryan Hollis, GM of Mervin, a maker of snowboards, boots, and bindings.

The Northwest-native has been with Mervin for five years as the company's Northwest Sales Rep. During that time he tripled sales, while working with Mervin's product crew to develop new categories at the Sequim, WA factory. In addition to sales, Phillips will manage retail marketing including point of purchase and trade shows. While his main focus will be the Americas, he will work closely with global partners and distributors. Beyond snowboards, Phillips will also be working with to Kyle Phillips. Photo: Jeff Hawe

“We've spent the last 25 years coming up with all sorts of ideas and naming them ridiculous things, now we're entrusting Kyle with talking retailers into buying them,” says Pete Saari, VP of Marketing at Mervin. “Luckily after riding for nearly as long as we've been making boards he's ready to give up all the fame and glory to join us suits.”
