McDavid said two of America's up and coming female skiers, Ashley Battersby and Jen Hudak, will be sporting McDavid's latest line of HexPad protective apparel at the 2010 Winter X Games this week.
The line, which is debuting at SnowSports Industries America's (SIA) Fashion Show in Denver, Colo., was developed specifically for snow sports and features McDavid's HexPad technology in regions of the body that get the most beating, like the tailbone, hips, thighs, knees and spine.
“HexPad offers a layer of protection that is lighter and more flexible than any other piece of protective equipment I've tried before,” said Battersby, who has established herself as one of the best female park skiers in the world. “The technology gives me a much better range of motion which means it not only protects, but it improves performance, as well.”
Jen Hudak was ranked first overall in the Association of Freeskiing Professionalsâ¬ï¿½ SuperPipe rankings last year and took home a silver medal at last yearâ¬ï¿½s Winter X Games. â¬ï¿½I love that McDavidâ¬ï¿½s shirts and pants keep me warm, dry and protected all at the same time,â¬ï¿½ she said. â¬ï¿½Theyâ¬ï¿½re definitely a new staple.â¬ï¿½
