McDavid has renewed its contract with Dwayne Wade, star basketball player of the Miami Heat, as its chief endorser. Wade, who led USA with 27 points in the gold medal game against Spain at the Beijing Olympics, has been a regular user of McDavid for the past three years.

“Dwayne is the perfect example of how McDavid can help athletes stay in the game,” said McDavid vice president Terry Fee.  “He was among the first in the NBA to make HexPad an everyday piece of equipment. After rehabbing from a string of injuries Dwayne felt secure enough wearing HexPad to not only get back on the court but perform at the highest level.’”

“Dwayne’s reach goes beyond using McDavid on the court. We’re working on the next generation of HexPad and Dwayne has been instrumental in helping us improve this technology and we’re excited to improve the technology even further with his assistance,” said Rey Corpuz, director of marketing at McDavid.
