Mattingly Sports launched its first line of fielding gloves, the 9X SERIES. The new series of gloves represent a key addition to the company's product line which already includes the ground breaking and patented V-Grip Handle line of baseball and softball bats.
The inspiration for the 9X SERIES of fielding gloves came from “Donnie Baseball” himself. In addition to being the 1985 A.L. MVP and 1984 A.L. Batting Champion, Don Mattingly won fielding awards 9 times throughout his illustrious career with the N. Y. Yankees. The series of gloves will introduce Don's fielding prowess to the next generation of all-stars and are loaded with special features including durable steer hide leather construction, bruise guard protection and comfort finger lining.

The new baseball gloves are available in youth sizes and will initially be sold on the company's website http://www.MattinglySports.com. Later this year the 9X Series fielding gloves will be available at major sporting goods retailers.
