Matador Travel Equipment introduced its Ultralight Travel Towels designed for compact portability and absorbency. The towels are come in two sizes and compress into an integrated mesh stuff sack for stowing.
“We’ve taken our best-selling travel towels and engineered them for those who count every ounce,” said Chris Clearman, founder and CEO. Matador. “These ultralight towels offer all of the same benefits, at nearly half the weight.”
The Ultralight Travel Towels are constructed with a quick-dry nanofiber material able to absorb 2.3 times its weight in water. The towels feature a buckle loop for hanging, and the storage sack features a Hypalon handle and hang loop for attaching to luggage.
The large version of the towel is 47 x 24 inches when unpacked and weighs 81 grams; the small version measures 15 x 15 inches when unpacked and weighs 25 grams. Both versions are machine washable.
