Marin Mountain Bikes, Inc., based in Petaluma, CA, announced that industry veterans Mike Miranda and Keith Ketterer had joined its U.S. sales team as territory manager and inside sales representative, respectively.
Miranda has worked in the bike industry since the conclusion of his career as a BMX racer, which landed him in the ABA BMX Hall of Fame. He has worked in marketing, product development and sales for industry-leading brands. As territory manager for Marin, his regions include Southern California, Arizona, New Mexico, and El Paso TX.
Ketterer spent the previous 22 years as an inside sales rep at Giant Bicycles. Before that, he was team manager at Diamondback Racing. Ketterer is also a World and National Champion track racer, setting two UCI world records.
“We feel very fortunate to be able to attract such experienced talent to join Marin as we continue to carefully enhance our IBD business,” said John Georger, Marin’s vice president of sales. “I have worked with both Mike and Keith in the past and know that they will bring a variety of important skills to our growing company.”
