Mammut, the Swiss producer of premium outdoor equipment and apparel, appointed Joe Prebich as managing director of Mammut North America. Bill Supple will transition from his role as CEO in late April, following 17 years of launching and leading the Mammut brand in the North American market.
“We thank Bill for his passion and dedication to growing the Mammut brand and bringing our business in North America to the strong position we’ve achieved to date,” said Oliver Pabst, CEO of Mammut. “Globally, Mammut is in a position to charge ahead with the new strategy and we’re excited to have Joe join us as we embrace the next phase for the brand.”
During the month of April, Bill will work closely with Joe to ensure and preserve the high level of service and support he and his team have secured with our North American dealer partners.
Joe Prebich comes to Mammut North America with extensive experience as a retail-driven brand marketer, having led e-commerce and developing and elevating the digital presence of active and core outdoor brands including Oakley, Red Bull and most recently, Fjällräven. Prebich was most recently VP of brand, Fjällräven North America.
