Lululemon Athletica, Inc. announced plans to open its first two stores and a local e-commerce site in Spain. Spain is a new European market for the brand since 2019.

The expansion supports the company’s “Power of Three ×2” growth plan, which includes quadrupling its international revenue from 2021 levels by year-end 2026.

Beginning with the launch of in late July, the company’s apparel and accessories will be available to consumers in Spain from a dedicated e-commerce platform. In September, the company will open its first retail stores in Madrid and Barcelona at Calle Serrano and Paseo de Gracia, respectively.

The strength of our model across product innovation, guest experience, community and culture provides a unique advantage as we introduce Lululemon to our newest market.”

Lululemon operates roughly 40 stores and three local language sites in eight countries in France, Germany, Ireland, the Netherlands, Norway, Sweden, Switzerland, and the UK. Lululemon also ships across Europe via its EU website.
