Lowa Sportschuhe GmbH reported sales grew 1.9 percent in 2024 to €233.9 million ($246 mm), marking the second-best result in the German company’s history. Kids, winter shoes and trail running segments led the gains.

The trail running segment, which exceeded expectations in 2023, tripled its production volume in 2024 as planned.

“Our diversified product portfolio gives us the flexibility we need to be successful even in a challenging market environment,” said Lowa Managing Director Alexander Nicolai. “At the same time, we continue to invest consistently – in our products, our team and our production capacities. This ensures that we not only respond to short-term challenges, but also remain competitive in the long term.”

Lowa said close collaboration with specialty retailers remains a key success factor. “Our retail partners are an essential part of our success,” said Nicolai. “Together, we can respond specifically to the needs of our customers and ensure sustainable growth.”

The Spring/Summer 2025 collection was launched with innovations for a “young, modern and athletic target group” while the company further developed established product lines.

“With this strategy, we want to continuously increase our sales in the coming years and generate stable growth in the long term,” said Nicolai. “Going forward, the focus will be on the internationalization and digitalization of the brand.”

Nicolai concluded, “We will continue to develop this year with new products, optimized processes and strong partnerships.”
