The Rossignol Group and Look Cycle have signed a multi-year licensing agreement for Rossignol apparel.
The staff of the Rossignol apparel division will pursue its activities
within the new Headquarters in Moirans. An experienced team of 15
people will be in charge of the design, marketing, commercial
development and production.
Jean Holvoet, the historic author of Rossignol Apparel who was
instrumental bringing fashion and sport closer together, will head up
the business owned by Look Cycle. Holvoet will continue to collaborate
with Jean-Charles de Castelbajac on designs.
Holvoet explains that, “this licensing relationship with Look will
ensure the continuity of our apparel team resulting in continued
innovation, reliable deliveries for our customers and future growth for
our apparel business.”
“Licensing the apparel business to Look Cycle is a key building block
in the Group's plan towards long term health and profitability,” said Bruno Cercley, President & CEO of the Rossignol Group. “We are happy to be associated with a world class brand
like Look Cycle that shares our relentless focus on great products and
exceptional customer service. This license will allow Group Rossignol
to concentrate on its core business of designing and delivering the
best winter hardgoods, while giving the Rossignol brand a chance to
grow within the apparel category.”
“We were excited to license Rossignol's apparel business due to the
strength of the brand name, the solid team that's in place and a
similar focus on technically superior products,” said Dominique Bergin,
President of Look Cycle. “We are confident that there is a significant
opportunity to increase the sales of Rossignol branded apparel in the
years ahead.”
